CompareCDRate.com is an informational comparison and marketing website for certificates of deposit, operated by Compare CD Rate Ltd. We built it to help U.S. savers compare CDs by term, deposit size and target maturity date, with every rate clearly dated. Listings focus on the terms that matter — APY, term, minimum deposit, insurance and eligibility — and institution names aren’t published on the site. When you inquire, we share the details with you directly.
What we do
- Publish CD rate tables covering banks, credit unions and brokerages, reviewed regularly and backed by a dated source record.
- Follow up directly with savers who inquire, sharing the institution details and full terms behind the listings that match.
- Offer free tools, including a maturity planner, earnings calculator and CD ladder builder.
- Explain CDs, deposit insurance, penalties and brokered CDs in plain English.
- Respond to savers who ask for help, and — only with their consent — connect them with participating providers.
What we don’t do
We are not a bank, credit union, broker-dealer, investment adviser or financial planner. We don’t accept deposits, hold money, open accounts, issue CDs, or carry out transactions, and we don’t give personalized financial, tax or legal advice.
