1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and Compare CD Rate Ltd (“CompareCDRate,” “we,” “us”) covering your use of comparecdrate.com and its forms, tools, and content (the “Site”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

2. What the Site is

The Site is an informational comparison and marketing service. We are not a bank, credit union, lender, broker-dealer, investment adviser, insurance producer, or financial, legal, or tax adviser. We don’t accept deposits, open accounts, hold funds, or issue CDs. Any account is opened directly with the institution under its own terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18, a U.S. resident, and legally able to enter into a contract to use our forms.

4. Your submissions and contact consent

You agree that the information you submit is accurate, complete, and your own, and that any phone number you provide belongs to you. Submitting a request asks us to respond to it; it does not by itself authorize marketing. Marketing contact by phone, text, or email, including by automated technology, requires your separate, optional consent as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent is not required to submit a request or make any purchase.

5. No guarantee of availability or outcome

Submitting information doesn’t reserve a rate or guarantee qualification, approval, eligibility, availability, provider contact, or any financial result. Institutions set and may change their rates, yields, terms, minimums, and availability without notice.

6. Not financial advice

All Site content, including rate tables, calculators, the maturity planner, and educational material, is general information. Tool results are estimates based on your inputs and are not offers. Consider consulting a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false or third-party information; scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Site except as permitted by our robots.txt; interfere with the Site’s operation or security; reproduce Site content commercially without permission; or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, graphics, logos, and other content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view the Site for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Third-party links and providers

The Site links to third-party websites and, with your consent, may share your information with third-party providers. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for third-party sites, products, rates, disclosures, or privacy practices, and inclusion is not an endorsement.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR CONTACT WITH ANY PROVIDER. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Site, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
